Snow Belt Afghan
by Rohn Strong
I grew up in the snow belt. Where Halloween was marked by the first snow fall of the year and spring didn’t begin until June. I loved every moment of my childhood. One of the greatest memories I have is sitting in the window, crocheting, while the snow flurries fell from the sky. This is my homage to my childhood and those glorious blizzards we experienced.
Made up of two different motifs that are joined with a simple knot the Snow Belt Afghan is perfect for throwing on the back of your couch or on top of your comforter.
The motifs can be used in a lighter weight yarn as well! Simply keep making motifs until it is the size you desire!
