Snow Dancer
The Snow Dancer dress is knit in pieces with the snowflake motifs being duplicate stitched on later. Designed to be worn as a tunic or a dress, with puffy, cap sleeves. Icord edging gives this close-fitting a-line dress a nice, smooth finish.
Note: This dress pattern is so versatile, you can make this dress without the snowflakes if you choose.
I found that working the duplicate stitch created a better fabric and feel than intarsia would, however, it may also be an option. (If you choose to work the intarsia I highly recommend swatching some of the snowflakes first, so that you can be sure that you like the outcome.) However, please note, the pattern has been written for duplicate stitch.
