Design
This super bulky hat is wonderfully squishy, worked in a unique cable that creates a stretchy 4X1 rib. A tubular cast on is used for maximum stretch allowing this hat to be worn by a wider range of head sizes. If you prefer to use a different cast on method, cast on with larger sized needles and replace first 2 rounds of double knitting with regular 1x1 rib. Pattern is written in one size. (see below) All repeats appear in bold text throughout pattern. The pattern is charted and also includes separate written instructions.
