This pattern is included in my new book, Cozy Cables. You can purchase the printed book here.

This design is part of the SNOW FERN COLLECTION. Purchase the entire collection (10 patterns) in one bundle for only $30.

Snow Fern features unique cables that begin narrow and slowly expand out and back in again like the ferns that grow wild in the nearby Blue Mountains of Washington state. When the mountain snow covers the ground, these ferns resemble woolen stitches, which is what inspired this design. Snow Fern is a streamlined cardigan with narrow panels of cabling on the front and a wider panel of cables on the back. Raglan increases form the yoke of the cardigan. A faux seam runs down the sides for a polished look and a little extra structure. The sleeves are nice and roomy and feature bubble cuffs. This pattern is charted.

CONSTRUCTION
This cardigan is worked back and forth from the neck down with raglan increases. The sleeves are separated, and the body is worked without any shaping. Stitches are picked up along the neck and front sides for the collar and front bands. The sleeves are knit in the round from the top down.
