PATTERN INFORMATION

These gloves are inspired by old-fashioned, classic knitted gloves. They are worked from the cuff upwards. Each glove is worked slightly differently so that it fits the right and left hand respectively.
The pattern is worked from a chart and is a simple lace pattern that creates a rib-like effect, helping the glove fit comfortably around the hand. The thumb is also shaped to follow the hand for a better fit.

The gloves are worked using double-pointed needles. Magic Loop can also be used, but this method is not described in the pattern.
A photo tutorial is included showing how the stitches are divided when knitting the fingers.
