Create a cast of loveable characters along with their arch nemesis.

Taking in a pantomime show is a Christmas tradition for many families, and I have chosen a few of my favourite characters for this year’s Panto season. The cast of this Pantomime includes Snow White, Seven Dwarves and the Evil Queen with her basket of apples.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the dolls are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES:
A pair of 3mm single pointed knitting needles (US 2.5).

RECOMMENDED YARN:
Yarnsmiths Create DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; One 100g/290m skein in each colour.


NOTIONS:
Tapestry needle, toy filling, plus buttons, and beads for features and decoration.

SIZES:
One size only - From 11cm to 16cm tall. Heights of each toy are Evil Queen 16cm, Snow White 14.5cm and each of the seven Dwarves 11cm.

TECHNIQUES:
For confident beginners/intermediate and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and mattress stitch seaming and embroidery to finish.
