Traditionally, babies wear a long silk or satin dress for a christening, but as churches are often chilly, it is useful to have a pretty knitted jacket as an extra layer. With its lace hem and frills, this set is decorative enough for any christening, adding a touch of frivolity to a plain gown or dressing up a pair of trousers.
