Soft and festive scarf for the winter. Made with Aran yarn. The stitch is double sided and represents a snowflake on red background. The motif is suitable for blankets, pillows and any other garments like cardigans and jumpers.

The pattern and instructions are both in UK and USA terminology. The UK terminology is in bold.

Yarn Use any colour Aran yarn – make sure the colours are contrasting

Border is 2.5 cm

Measurements The scarf is made out of 8 motifs
Its measurements are as follows:
Length 141 cm
Width 22cm

RESIZING
If you would like the scarf to be smaller please use smaller weight yarn and smaller hook or make less motif i.e. instead of 8 make 6 for instance.

For blankets, Aran yarn can be used as well as it will give it extra warmth or if intended as baby blanket sport or dk yarn would be more suitable.
