Since the Waistcoat stitch started trending I started to think about other patterns to create besides the “Love is in the Air Beanie”. So I created this FREE pattern which is called the Snowflakes Messy Bun Hat. And I am in love with it. I have been wearing since I created it. In fact, as you can see the it can be worn as a Ponytail Hat also. The pattern below is a teen/adult size, but with some experience can be made into different sizes. One way would be to use a smaller/larger hook size or to decrease/increase according to the amount of multiples (repeats) used.
