A quick-to-knit whimsical snowman cap to brighten the cloudy winter days. This stocking cap is very stretchy to accommodate a wide range of head sizes. The brim is worn folded up. The pompoms are secured in such a way that the snowman’s mood can be changed if desired.

Small amounts of black (CC1) and orange (CC2) yarn for embellishments
16” circular knitting needle, size 4.5 mm / US 7 (or needle type of your choice, considering gauge)
A set of 4-5 double pointed needles, size 4.5 mm / US 7

Darning needle
Small sharp scissors
Small pompom maker or fork with parallel, straight-edged tines
12“/30cm white elastic thread
Small amount of fiberfill for stuffing the nose
