This pattern is for a Tunisian Crochet Hood. 

The Snowmelt Hood is made for the heart of winter — thick, cozy, and designed to keep the cold firmly out. With a snug fold-under cowl and a drawstring hood you can cinch tight on the coldest days, this is a piece you’ll reach for whenever snow is in the forecast.

Materials
Yarn: 600 yards of Worsted weight yarn. Sample used Bad Sheep Yarn Worsted (100% SW Merino, 218 yds/100g) in the Water colorway
Hook: 6.5 mm (K) Tunisian Crochet hook.
Drawstring: 40-44” (100-110 cm) long. Shown with icord created with same yarn as hood.
Size:  Adult, one size fits all.

Skill level- Advanced Beginner
Basic knowledge of tunisian crochet is assumed (forward pass/return pass etc). Written instructions.
