On December 16th is the Christmas Jumper Day!
With crochet snowmen and a bit of “free embroidery” you will have the most envied sweater (er… i.e.: funny, hilarious, irresistible!) at the party.

Level: Easy
Materials:
– plain jumper
– leftover of Aran cotton yarn in white, red, blue, yellow and brown (I’ve used Drops Paris 50 g / 75 m)
– leftover of Sport cotton yarn in orange (I’ve used Drops Safran 50 g / 160 m)
– 2,5 mm and 4 mm crochet hook
– 4 mm black beads
– black and white thread
– tapestry and embroidery needle

Abbreviations (US terms):
ch: chain
slst: slip stitch
sc: single crochet (double crochet in UK terms)
hdc: half double crochet (half treble crochet in UK terms)
inc: single crochet increase
st: stitch/es

Il 16 dicembre è il Christmas Jumper Day!
Con i pupazzi di neve realizzati a uncinetto e un po’ di “ricamo libero” avremo il maglione più invidiato (ehm cioè: buffo, esilarante, irresistibile!) da tutti i partecipanti alla festa.

Difficoltà: facile
Occorrente:
– un maglione
– pochi metri di cotone Aran (circa 75 m per 50 g) nei colori: bianco, rosso, blu, giallo e marrone
(Il cotone utilizzato per i pupazzi in foto è il Drops Paris)
– pochi metri di cotone Sport (circa 160 m per 50 g) nel colore arancione
(Il cotone utilizzato per i pupazzi in foto è il Drops Safran)
– uncinetto n. 4 e n. 2,5
– perline in plastica nera da 4 mm
– filo da ricamo nero e bianco
– ago da lana e da cucito

Punti impiegati e abbreviazioni:
cat: catenella
mbs: maglia bassissima
mb: maglia bassa
mma: mezza maglia alta
aum: aumento con maglia bassa (lavorare 2 maglie basse nella stessa maglia di base)
