The Snowy Creek Cowl features a main cable that is replicated around the cowl and sandwiched in between columns of twists. The cowl is worked from the bottom up. It is an easy knit and uses only 2/2 and 1/1 cables.

• Small circumference cowl: 22” / 56 cm circumference and 11.5” / 29 cm tall after blocking
• Large circumference cowl: 30.75” / 78 cm circumference and 5.5” / 14 cm tall after blocking

Yardage:

• Small circumference cowl: 345 y / 315 m
• Large circumference cowl: 230 y / 210 m

• DK weight yarn – I used The Fiber Seed’s Sprout DK DK weight, 90% Merino, 10% Nylon, 250 yards (230 m)/ 100g in Lavender and Oak.
• Size US 4/3.50 mm 16” or 24” circular needle
• Size US 6/4.00 mm 16” or 24” circular needle
• Yarn needle
• Cable needle
• Stitch markers, including a unique marker for beginning of round
