Snuggly Knee Warmers
I came up with this design with three groups of users in mind - those who like to wear skirts or dresses in winter but need to cover their knees for extra warmth; those who need to keep their knees warm for faster healing after surgery, and those who simply prefer to cover their knees during colder evenings.
These Snuggly Knee Warmers are knitted with amazingly soft and widely available yarn. As usual with my designs, I added some interesting touches for comfortable wearing while providing clever functional solutions.

Snuggly Knee Warmers are knitted in the round, bottom-up as one piece. You start with tubular cast-on for 1 x 1 ribbing, then switch to a horizontal ribbing with short rows for the front part while continuing the 1 x 1 ribbing for the back part. Finally, you work the top 1 x 1 ribbing and finish it with tubular bind-off.
