Introduction from book:
“This blue and white striped jumper is knitted from side to side rather than the conventional bottom to top method. This means that the stripes are vertical rather than horizontal. Similarly, the sleeves are knitted round the arm rather than from wrist to armhole. The different directions of stripes gice a bright and modern twist to a simple jumper design. This projects uses a traditional blue and cream colour scheme to suit a boy, but the pattern looks equally striking when knitted for a little girl in a pink and cream colourway.”
