“Giggledance” is a knitting pattern for relatively thin but still warm striped wool socks with a boomerang heel. One can knit them either toe-up or top-down (both versions are included into the knitting pattern).

The pattern is written in the form of a comprehensive table, but - apart from a cover picture - does not include any photos: It is suboptimal for knitting beginners.

What you need for these size 38 socks:

• Yarn: superwash sock wool with the following properties - 75% (virgin) wool, 25% polyamide; 50 g ~ 210 m. One doesn’t need all yarn listed: They are just examples of the yarn with needed characteristics.
• Knitting needles: 2 mm.
