Cuff-down sock with reinforced heel and longer gusset construction.

It does have a fitted toe, avoiding extra fabric to make it more comfortable while wearing shoes.

These socks can be knit with a variety of yarns, from solids to speckles to self-striping yarn.
Feel free to use up your leftovers.

This is a simple knit for beginners.
Worked in ribs, stockinette stitch and reverse stockinette stitch.

Including instructions for purlfree/stripey version.
