Soe
Soe is a warm and cosy sweater for cold winter days. It is worked top down with an intricate but simple-to-learn cable on the sleeves that starts from the collar and goes all the way down to the cuff. Soe means warm in Estonian – and wolf in the southern regions of Estonia.

CONSTRUCTION
The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. It features a high collar, a split hem that is slightly longer in the back and a cable pattern that runs all the way from the collar down the sleeves. The body is worked in Stockinette Stitch while the sleeve cables are worked on a Reverse Stockinette Stitch background. A 2 x 2 Ribbing runs down the sides and the sleeve’s bottom side making a seamless transition to the hem and cuff ribbings. The back neck is shaped with German Short Rows. A Tubular Cast-On and Bind-Off is worked to create neat edges.
