Soft Autumn is a warm and cosy crescent shawl. You work it from the top down with worsted weight yarn.

The beautiful all-over chevron lace on stockinette stitch is calming to knit. As a final detail, an i-cord bind off perfects the pristine look.

YARN
3 skeins of The Fibre Co. Cumbria (90% wool, 10% mohair; 216 m / 236 yds per 100 g). Shown in colour St. Bees Beach.

Or approximately 604 m / 660 yds of similar worsted weight yarn.

NEEDLES
Size 5 mm / US 8 needle or size to obtain pattern gauge

This shawl is worked flat, but I recommend using a 100 cm / 40 inch circular needle to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
