A simple triangular scarf knit flat using Assigned Pooling yarn.

Assigned Pooling takes place when a change in stitch and texture is allocated to changes in colour of a variegated skein of yarn.

The size can be easily adjusted by knitting more/ less rows. Different weight yarn and/ or needles can be substituted to achieve different effect and size.

YARN
100g of Assigned Pooling fingering (4ply/ sock) weight yarn, approximately 365 metres/ 399 yards.
The sample in the photo is knit in Beautiful Knitters SOHO – Super-wash Bluefaced Leicester Hight Twist in colour Orchid.

3.5 mm (US 3) 60 cm or longer circular needles
Tapestry needle

TENSION
6 stitches = 1 inch in garter stitch
