Koot eivät ole standardeja. Tarkista sopiva koko annetuista mitoista. Mitat ovat valmiin työn mittoja. Väljyysvaraa on noin 8-10 cm, joten mittaa oma rinnanympärys ja valitse koko, joka on 8-10 cm isompi. Jos haluat väljemmän/tyköistuvamman neuleen, valitse isompi/pienempi koko.

Puikot
Pyöröpuikko 3,5 ja 4,5 mm 80 cm (tai käsialan mukaan) isoimmat koot: puikon pituus 120/150 cm
Sukkapuikot 3,5 ja 4,5 mm (tai käsialan mukaan)
(Mikäli et käytä Magic loop- tekniikkaa, tarvitset myös pyöröpuikot 3,5 mm ja 4,5 mm 40 cm)
Työn lisäykset on helpompi tehdä teräväkärkisillä puikoilla.

Vinkki: Neulo mallitilkku ja viimeistele se kuten valmis neule tullaan viimeistelemään. Mikäli saat liikaa silmukoita per 10 cm, vaihda paksumpiin puikkoihin. Jos saat liian vähän silmukoita per 10 cm, vaihda ohuempiin puikkoihin.

Tarvitset
Kanavaneulan sekä 6 kpl silmukkamerkkejä (mieluiten 4 samanväristä ja kaksi eriväristä). Voit myös käyttää langanpätkiä, tölkkiklipsuja yms.

Työohje
Koko työ neulotaan suljettuna neuleena pyöröpuikolla keskeltä takaa alkaen, ylhäältä alas. Niskassa neulotaan lyhennettyjä kerroksia tasona istuvuuden parantamiseksi. Työssä on satulaolkapäät. Hihasilmukat siirretään apulangalle ja hihat neulotaan suljettuna neuleena sukkapuikoilla.

The sizes aren’t standard. Please check the measures for the appropriate size. The measurements are the measurements of the finished sweater. The sweater is intended to have 8-10 cm of positive ease. Measure your bust circumference and choose a size that is approx. 8-10 cm bigger. Or if you want more/less ease, choose the size accordingly.

Needles
Circular needle 3,5 and 4,5 mm 80 cm (or as needed to obtain gauge), for bigger sizes needle length 120/150 cm
Double pointed needles 3,5 and 4,5 mm (or as needed to obtain gauge)
(If you don’t use the magic loop -technique, you will need to use circular needle 3,5 mm ja 4,5 mm 40 cm)
Increases are easier to work with sharp needle tips.

Gauge
10 x 10 cm: 20 sts and 29 rnds in stockinette stitch

Tip: Knit a swatch and give it a finishing treatment like you would for the finished sweater. If you’re getting too many sts per 10 cm, switch to a bigger needle size. If you’re getting too few sts per 10 cm, switch to a smaller needle.

You will also need
A tapestry needle and 6 stitch markers (preferably 4 in a single colour and 2 in a contrasting colour). You can also use yarn scraps, can tabs etc.

Instructions
The whole piece is worked in the round on circular needles, beginning from the back of the neck, top down. There is short row shaping for the back of the neck to improve the fit. The sweater has saddle shoulders. Sleeve stitches are left on hold on scrap yarn and the sleeves are worked in the round on dpns.
