Solmu means “knot” in finnish. Do you have a piece of nice scrap yarn and a hair tie? I thought so! Then you are ready to make your basic hairtie at least two times more cute.

Solmu hairtie is knitted in the round using magic loop. The bow is shaped with increases and decreases.

You´ll need:
5grams of sport weight yarn
3mm ja 60cm circular needles
1 hair tie (ideally one that matches your yarn)
Blunt needle for grafting the tip

Gauge: 25sts/30rounds = 10cm in the round
