Begin by making a gauge swatch to check that you have the correct gauge.

Sizes

One Size, Length is adjustable.

Needles:

Circular knitting needles 8.0 mm US11r 100 cm) 40 inches for Magic Loop

Gauge:

In stockinette stitch on needle 8.0 mm:

13 sts x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm

Materials:

300 g “Alpine Cloud” from Wovenbeyond

for the exact Shawl that is shown in the photos, you will need: 150 g of “Alpine Cloud” in col. Navy and 150 g of “Alpine Cloud” in col. Sand.

Please note that you may need more yarn if you want to knit the scarf longer than indicated.

Yarn alternatives:

200-300 g “Cloud” from Lang Yarns

held together with

50-75 g “Lace” from Lang Yarns

Note that you can use any yarns you like & you do not need to match the gauge perfectly - this makes the Solvej Shawl the perfect project to use up scrap yarns.
