Sommacco Hat” is a hat knit in the round, bottom-up.
It is decorated using an intricate lace motif to add interest.
The high border is in twisted rib stitch.

One size:
The hat stretches up to 10 cm – 4 inches to fit up to head circumference 48 cm – 19 inches / 56 cm – 22 inches.

Finished measurements:
46 cm – 18 ¼ inches circumference.

Yarn and needles:
BROOKLYN TWEED Loft (100% American wool, 251 m – 275 yd / 50 gr – 1.76 oz. skein): 1 skein.
Circular needles:
3 mm – US 2 ½ with a 40 cm – 24 inch cable;
3.5 mm – US 4 with a 40 cm – 24 inch cable;
set of dpns 3.5 mm – US 4 for binding off; if you don’t have dpns, or if you prefer, you can use the Magic Loop method using an 80 cm – 32 inch cable.
If necessary, please adjust needle size to obtain the specified gauge.
Other:
1 stitch marker.
Tapestry needle and scissors.

Gauge:
22 sts and 32 rounds = 10 cm – 4” in st st using the 3 mm – US 2 ½ needles (worked in the round and after blocking).

È decorato da un intricato motivo a pizzo che lo rende molto interessante.
L’alto bordo è a coste ritorte.

Il berretto può estendersi fino a 10 cm per vestire una testa di 48/56 cm.

BROOKLYN TWEED Loft (100% lana Americana, 251 m per matassa da 50 gr): 1 matassa.
Ferri circolari:
numero 3 mm con cavo lungo 40 cm;
numero 3.5 mm con cavo lungo 40 cm;
un gioco di ferri numero 3.5 mm per la chiusura; se non li possedete, potete usare il metodo del Magic Loop con un cavo da 80 cm.
Se necessario modificare il numero degli aghi per ottenere il campione corretto.
