Sonic Six
This design alternates simple ribbing with columns of slipped stitches for a very stretchy, very versatile hat. It’s the perfect mix for heavily variegated yarns.
NEEDLES
US #1.5/2.5mm (or size you need to get gauge) 16”/40 cm circular AND double points for crown
NOTIONS
Stitch marker, tapestry needle.
GAUGE
40 sts = 4”/10 cm in pattern, unstretched
28 sts = 4”/10 cm in pattern, fully stretched
Please pay close attention to when measurements are for unstretched or stretched fabric. This is a very stretchy stitch pattern so stitch and row gauge will change significantly due to stretching, blocking, and wearing!
