Sonny Knitted Suit
Materials.—Five skeins 3-ply wool, 1oz. ball of Angora wool in white, 2 No. 9 and 2 No. 11 needles, a No. 1½ steel crochet hook, 4 small pearl buttons and a piece of elastic for the knickers. A woolly chick applique.
Measurements.—Jersey: Length from shoulder 12½ inches; width all round under arms, 21 inches; length of sleeve seam 8 inches.
Tenslon.—6½ sts to 1 inch in width.
This pattern from 1938 is for a knitted pullover and shorts for a toddler. The yarn required came in 1 oz skeins.
