The Sonora Bag was inspired by my obsession for pockets. An extremely versatile pattern to combine the bag sizes, exterior pockets, interior pockets, hidden pockets and color combination.

One large outside pocket on the front for letters, lists, etc. Two small side pockets for cell phone and keys.
Choice of open or zippered pocket on the back.
Inside I make one large snapped pocket and one divided pocket for glasses, sunglasses on the other side.

Magnetic clasps on the inside of the straps keep your bag closed and secure with decorative buttons on the outside of the flaps.

The written instructions will guide you from knitting all the components of the bag to felting, shaping and lining your finished bag.

You can opt to use double strands of worsted weight 100% wool yarn in place of the recommended bulky yarn.
