Sonora Cacti Socks
For another opportunity to try knitting peasant heels, look no further than the Sonora Cacti Socks. These socks are similar to the Avo Toast socks not only in the heel, but also in their use of a simple two color motif. They are also worked from the cuff to the toe.

Yarn Weight 1
Finished Size 8 (9)“ foot circumference and 9 (9¾)” long from back of heel to tip of toe; foot length is adjustable. Socks shown measure 9” foot circumference.
Yarn Fiber Seed Sprout Sock (90% superwash merino wool, 10% nylon; 510 yd 466 m/4¾ oz 136 g): #S013 pinegrove (dark green; MC), #S060 inchworm (lime green; CC1), and #S050 coral (red; CC2), 1 skein each.
Needles Size 2 (2.75 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); waste yarn for heel; tapestry needle.
Gauge 32 sts and 31 rnds = 4” in charted patt.
