Bands of stockinette stitch are punctuated by bands of eyelets and mesh stitch in this pretty poncho. Don’t worry about knitting the colored stripes, Painted Desert will take care of those for you!

Two panels are worked separately back and forth, then joined in the round to work to lower edge of poncho.

3 x 100g balls of KFI Collection Painted Desert in shade 14 Spring is Sprung.
Size US 6 (4mm) circular needle 24in/60cm long, or size to obtain gauge.
Size US 7 (4.5mm) circular needle 24in/60cm long, or size to obtain gauge.
Size US 8 (5mm) circular needle 32in/80cm long, or size to obtain gauge. Stitch markers in different colors.

GAUGES
18 sts and 28 rows = 4in/10cm over Stockinette st using size US 6 (4mm) needles.
16 sts and 26 rows = 4in/10cm over Stockinette st using size US 7 (4.5mm) needles.
