Called “Sonoran Nights” as my 14yos decided that’s just exactly what this colorway reminded him of … so that’s what it’s named!

The dark teal and warm burished gold work together to highlight the curves and waves of this shawlette which is knit using one skein of superwash fingering weight wool (used a skein of Lion Brand’s Sock-ease, with a bit of yarn left over).

The shawlette starts at the top with a garter tab and then grows downward, keeping a self-edge in garter st while the shawl grows from 3 sts to over 250sts. But the knitting is interesting and the shawlette goes together fairly quickly.
