Sophie Marie
Sophie Marie, I was wanting to use that name for one of my patterns for a long while now. Well I found the one that fits it. This knitted in the round cowl with a beautiful lace border and two lovely melting into each other colors looks like a Sophie Marie to me. Strategic decreases are adding a pretty detail over your shoulders and the neckline is done with both colors held together lending the perfect finish.
Blocked size: Lace 59” in circumference, Height 16”, Neckline 22” circumference.
Yarn:
Bambolino
A sport weight yarn holding 165 yards/50 grams in a soft blend
of 40% Bamboo, 35% Cotton, 25% Linen.
Used here 2 skeins each in colors Celadon (C1 297 yards)
and Turquoise (C2 180 yards).
Notions:
US size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles
1 in 16” (41 cm)in length
1 in 32” (81 cm)in length
9 Stitch markers (1 different, used as beginning of round marker)
Gauge:
16 sts and 28 rows in 4” of Stockinette stitch
Level of Expertise: Intermediate

Enjoy your pretty cowl!
