Sopro, is a triangular shawl worked from the center back downwards to the edging. The body is knitted in a mindless bicolor slip stitch pattern. The edge flows from the main section in a simple, yet attractive, lace stitch.

The textured appearance accentuated by diagonal lines, the combination of two different colors and stitches plus the fluid design, produce a stylish and unique look almost effortlessly.

More information

Pattern Style: Full, written instructions for the slip section, both written and charts are given for the lace section.
Pattern Difficulty: Intermediate - skills required: ordinary Cast on or a slip tab Cast on (explained in the pattern), knitting, purling, slip stitches, increasing (single and double yarn over), decreasing, basic lace knowledge, stretchy Bind-off (explained in the pattern).
Note: If you’re picky, this pattern may not be for you. The slip stitch tab creates a small rectangle of slip stitch which blends better with the slip stitch edging, but the Cast on edge isn’t as perfect as the garter stitch tab due the nature of the pattern stitch employed.
