Sottobosco is inspired by the colors and shapes of the wonderful autumn woods of our areas .During one of our many walks immersed in nature, observing the colorful undergrowth full of fallen leaves, vegetation and flashes of light, we had the idea for this sweater.
The wonderful “felted tweed” yarn with its wide range of colors and its slightly melange texture allowed our idea to come true.
We have chosen 5 beautiful autumn colors.

Sottobosco ( that in Italian means “Undergrowth”) is a top-down, circular yoke featuring stranded colorwork. Gradual increases are made in the yoke up to the sleeves that will be put on hold on a stitch holder or waste yarn and then picked up later. This way there will be no seams. Multicolor charts are distributed in the yoke, in the body and in the sleeves. The yoke is made up of a single chart that contains the increases.

Sottobosco comes in 11 sizes (from 78 to 183 cm 30.7 to 72“ bust circumference). The size guide and the table on PDF will help you choose the fit you prefer.

(cables 40, 60 and 100 cm 16, 24 and 40“ )
Cast on the neck with the shorter cable and then switch to the longer cable as you increase stitches. Use 60 cm 24” for sleeves.

Sottobosco si ispira ai colori e alle forme dei meravigliosi boschi autunnali delle nostre zone. In una delle nostre tante passeggiate immerse nella Natura osservando i colorati sottoboschi ricchi di foglie cadute, vegetazione e colpi di luce abbiamo avuto l’idea per questo maglione.
Il meraviglioso filato “felted tweed” con la sua vasta gamma di colori e la sua texture leggermente melange ha permesso di realizzare la nostra idea.Abbiamo scelto ben 5 colori bellissimi colori autunnali.

Sottobosco è lavorata in tondo , ha una costruzione dall’alto verso il basso, si eseguono degli aumenti graduali nello sprone fino ad arrivare alle maniche che verranno messe in sospeso su un filo per poi essere riprese successivamente. In questo modo non ci saranno cuciture. Questo modello è realizzato con la tecnica jacquard a più colori, le greche sono distribuite nello sprone nel corpo e anche nelle maniche.

Nel pattern sono disponibili 11 taglie (da 78 a 183 cm di circonferenza busto), la guida alle taglie e la tabella nel PDF ti aiuteranno a scegliere la vestibilitá che preferisci.
