YARN, GAÛGE AND MACHINE: Adjust stitch size so that Tamm Perle gets a stockinette gauge, after washing of 7 stitches/10 rows per inch. Probable stitch dial settings are 8-9 for standard and 4-7 for mid-gauge machines. Use a Japanese standard gauge machine to knit any size or a mid- gauge machine to knit the first 3-4 sizes. 2 cones of Tamm Perle plus some odds and ends of contrasting acrylic yarns are needed.
NOTE: Wind off 2 yards of main yarn before beginning. It will be needed to bind off the center neckline.
STITCH PATTERN: Select any tuck pattern that you like for the body of the blouse. The yoke and shoulders are knitted in stockinette. The stitch change creates a little fullness below the yoke without moving any stitches. Choice of tuck pattern will somewhat affect actual bust measurement.
