DESCRIPTION
The South Slope Vest is a little twist on the basic vest. Special techniques are used to work micro-stripes without creating a million ends to weave in! You could knit it up in classic neutral colors for a timeless classic or choose adventurous bright colors for a statement piece. Whether you’re a first-time vest knitter or a long-time vest enthusiast, this simple vest is easy to pair with button-downs, tees, blouses, or can even be worn alone as a tank.

This gender-neutral pattern has two fit options with 10 sizes each so that you can get your own ideal fit. Worked top-down in worsted weight yarn, this vest is also a wonderfully quick knit!

SIZING
This pattern is graded to 2 fit types with 10 sizes each. Fit I is graded based on a traditional women’s sizing chart and has narrower shoulders, shorter armhole depth, and a shorter body. Fit II is graded based on a traditional men’s sizing chart and has wider shoulders, deeper armhole depth, and a longer body.

Both fits are designed to fit bodies with bust/chest measurements between 30-66” (75-165 cm). All sizes include an additional 4” (10 cm) of ease in the finished garment. See the pattern details pages linked below for detailed fit information and a full schematic.
