The look of a shawlette without the fuss of keeping it in place. The pattern starts like a shawl, ends like a cowl. The mesh lace stitches make it an ideal transitional garment for those days between seasons when you just need a little something more. Optional tassels add a bit of bohemian flair—see photos on the next two pages.

Yarn: Wonderland Yarns “Mad Hatter Blossom” sport weight, 100% superwash merino: 344 yds/4 oz skein,
shown in the limited edition colorway “Chondrus”

Needles & Notions: US size 6/4mm, 16”/40cm & 24”/60cm circular needle (or size required to get gauge), darning
needle, 3 stitch markers—1 unique to mark start of round, (for optional tassels) something rigid for making tassels—we
used a credit card, 16 (or equal to number of tassels desired) locking markers/clips, bit of yarn, etc for tassel positioning

Gauge: 21 sts & 31 rows = 4”/10cm stockinette, after light blocking/steaming

Measurements: approximately 42”/106.5cm around at bottom opening, 27”/68.5cm around at neck opening,
20”/51cm when measured from cast on to bind off at deepest point
