Alchemy Yarns’ Sparky Serpentine scarf is an elegantly simple design that positively sizzles with color, texture and light. Exaggeratedly long and wonderfully skinny, the scarf knits in a flash, from just one skein of our inimitable Sparky yarn.

The Sparky Serpentine scarf is an ideal project for knitters of all levels. For a beginning knitter, this is a great way to try lace knitting. The stitch is a very old lace pattern, and renders beautiful two-sided fabric, using a one-row (yes, ONE row) lace repeat. Needless to say, the stitch is easily committed to memory, and creates a fabric that is quite like a spider web – perfect to showcase the beautiful color and subtle sparkly texture of our sensational yarn.
For the more experienced knitter, this is a super fun and relaxing project, easy to pick up & put down whenever necessary. Because it works up so quickly (and is gauge flexible), you may find yourself making this sassy little scarf whenever you need a last-minute knit gift!
