Sparky the Dragon pattern is for the intermediate crocheter.

US terms used

Most of the pattern is worked in continuous rounds/spirals of single crochet. There is working in rows. You will need to know how to do single crochet, half double and double crochet, slip stitch, increases and decreases, front and back post stitches, work in back and front loops and surface crochet.

Gauge is not important. Finished size if made using yarn and hook suggested will give a dragon that’s approx. 22cm tall

Requirements
3.5mm hook or size needed so that no holes appear in stitches through which stuffing may show.
I used Carnival 8ply yarns in the following colours:
MC (Main colour) – Purple
CC1 (Contrast colour) – Orange
CC2 - White
CC3 - Black
Needle for joining pieces
Stuffing
Pins for positioning pieces before sewing is recommended.
