Cosy mittens knitted mainly in a textured pattern that forms horizontal and vertical lines. The allover pattern has a lot of stretch which leads to a snug yet comfortable fit. The eye-catching feature though, is a broad ribbed cable which runs along the back of the hand and which gets smaller and then vanishes completely at the top.

The pattern includes two sizes: Women’s M and L to fit hand circumference of approximately 17.75 (21.75) cm 7 (8.5)”. Length of cuff and hand is adjustable.

2 balls of DK weight yarn with a yardage of approximately 110m (120 yds) per 50 g
4 mm / US size 6 circular needle, 40 cm (16”) long and a set of DPNs in the same size or needle(s) for your preferred way to knit in the round
Cable needle, 3 stitch markers, wast yarn or stitch holder, darning needle

The pattern can be worked either from the chart or written instructions, whichever you prefer.
