If you’ve not tried Front Post or Back Post stitches before, this is a great pattern for practising. These stitches are much easier than they sound. They’re the same as normal, it’s just where you put your hook that counts.

I’ve used paintbox aran with a 4.5mm hook. Whatever yarn is used, not much is needed. A great project for scraps.

I’ve used really bright colours, which look fabulous. I have also made these in all one colour which work well for more natural tones.
