Spencer the Spider and Friends

Just look what I found when I was tidying up the shed! A big fat stripey spider called Spencer who has built some rather well constructed webs and is inviting all his friends along for a spider house warming party!

Pattern includes instructions for a large and small spider. Also included is the pattern for the spider web. After all if you can make them a happy home, they’re less likely to come and live in yours! Or maybe you’re not scared of spiders and want them to share your house? You’ve only got to ask and these friendly little creatures will all come scurrying in.

Made with Light Worsted weight yarn and a Size D (3.25mm) hook the Large Spider measures approx. 3” (8cm) tall, the Small Spider measures approx. 2.5” (6 cm) tall

Suggested safety eyes sizes - Large Spider, 2 x 9mm and 2 x 6mm
- Small Spider, 2 x 6mm and 2 x 3mm

You will also need a 2mm hook for the small spiders smallest eyes.

This pattern is written in American crochet terminology and includes a handy stitch conversion chart so you can translate to British crochet terms instead should you wish to.
