5 mm Crochet Hook - needed for section 1 and 3
4 mm Crochet Hook needed for section 2

Tape measure

Gauge
With 5 mm, follow the instructions for the beanie. Round 1 - 6 = 60 hdc = 4” before blocking.
Adjust hook size if necessary, to obtain gauge.
