Spiny Ridge Shawl
I love this big, snuggly garter stitch shawl knit with 530 yards of Aran or worsted weight yarn and size 8 knitting needles. Start with a few stitches and increase as you knit the lacy points. It’s easy and fast to knit up. No pesky short rows! Make it as large or as small as you like. Looks great in solid colors, stripes, or yarns with long color runs. There is a photo tutorial for the increases. Block or don’t block. Can be made with any weight of yarn by changing the needle size to suit the yarn. Finished blocked size: 73” neckline x 29” deep
