  • This pattern has a few important steps where you need to pay particular attention, such as the increases at the beginning and the decreases at the end of the project. Otherwise it is repetitive and schematic and you will be able to work quickly.
  • The pillow cover is particularly impressive when worked with a multicoloured or self-striping yarn.

This pattern is in ENGLISH and uses standard US crochet terminology and abbreviations.

FINISHED SIZE: The pillow in this pattern has a diameter of 37 cm (about 15”).
YARN: ICE Yarns “Blues Batik” acrylic series, clr code 2-53530, or any other medium aran worsted yarn that can be worked with the given hook size, about 180 g (6.3 oz) / 378 mt (413 yds), less than 2 skeins, for a pillow cover.
GAUGE: 11-14 sts / 10x10 cm (4”x4”).
HOOKS: Size 6 (H8 - 5 mm) Tunisian hook (a normal crochet hook will do, too, because you will not need to collect many stitches on the hook for this pattern). You will also need a marker, or pin, and a pillow in the needed dimensions, or enough synthetic pillow stuffing to fill it with.
NOTIONS: Tunisian crochet basic techniques. Magic ring, single crochet, slip stitch. Working in rounds and rows.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate-Easy.
TYPE OF PATTERN: written instructions + lots of pics
