Materials needed:

Two skeins of super bulky/size 6 yarn in contrasting colors, approximately 90 yards total--roughly 50 yards of Color A and 40 yards of Color B

US 15 (10 mm) circular knitting needles with a 16” cord

US 15 (10 mm) Double Pointed Needles (DPNs) or US 15 (10 mm) circular knitting needles with a longer cord for Magic Loop Method

Stitch marker

Scissors

Tapestry needle

Pom pom maker or faux fur pom, if desired

Additional Gauge Information

9.5 sts and 11.5 rows per 4” square knit in the spiral pattern (body of the hat) with US 15 (10 mm) needles
