Spiraling Leaves Wrap is a chunky weight, cozy, textured lace wrap. It is knit back and forth as a bias triangle, then joined in front with an overlapping seam. Reasonably easy to knit, this is a fun and fairly quick project and is appropriate for first-time lace knitters.

I have knit this pattern in several weights of yarn, including worsted and fingering weights. To accomodate finer yarn weights, all you have to do is cast on more multiples of the leaf pattern. Pattern includes sizing tips.

I prefer not to block this fabric as it loses it’s 3-dimensional quality when blocked. It also loses its shoulder hugging qualities when blocked. That said, it is also lovely worn as an infinity scarf, though I like to wear it as a shoulder hugging wrap.

I designed a pair of super chunky mitts to go with; Spiraling Leaves Super Chunky Mitts. These two patterns are sold separately, but if you buy one, you’ll get the other 50% off. Such a deal.
