A beanie or slouchy called Spiriferous – for its spiral construction – showcases variegated yarns, from wild acrylic prints to gorgeous hand-dyed luxury yarns.

This fun crochet pattern combines solid and self-patterning or self-striping yarns for one-of-a-kind hats. For instance, print yarns form shifting blocks of color. Self-striping yarns work into colorful bands.

Pattern is intermediate for spiral construction and post stitches.
