INTRODUCTION
The Split Slouch hat was designed using two colors of DK weight yarn to make texture rich two color brioche and two color garter stitch slouch hat. This one knits up in no time and is a flattering unisex design and shape perfect for everybody.

MATERIALS
US 6 16” (4 mm 40 cm) circular needles.
US 6 (4 mm) DPNs.
2 Stitch markers.
90-160 yards (83-147 meters) of DK weight yarn Color A, this will be your foreground BRK color.
(Sample knit in West Wool Tandem - Sherbert.)
100-170 yards (92-156 meters) of DK weight yarn Color B, this will be your background BRP color.
(Sample knit in West Wool Tandem - Tangerine.)
Darning needle.

MEASUREMENTS
18”, 20”, 22” around x 10 ½” - 11” tall. (45.7, 50.8, 55.8 x 26.6 - 26.6-28 cm). Brioche is very stretchy so I recommend 2-4” (5 - 10 cm) of negative ease. The model is pictured wearing both the 18” (45.7 cm) size (orange) and the 20” (50.8 cm) size (black) with a 22” (55.8 cm) head circumference.
