️ SPOOKY SELBU MITTENS ️

️Required Skill Level: Some experience is recommended.

️ Needle Sizes Suggestions ️
Small, approximately 9 cm wide:
Ribbing: 2mm - Mitten & Thumb: 2,25mm

Medium, approximately 10 cm wide:
Ribbing: 2,5mm - Mitten & thumb: 3mm.

Large, Approximately 11-12 cm wide:
Ribbing: 3mm - Mitten & Thumb: 3,5mm

Your gauge and yarn will determine the size of your mitten, please refer to the swatching section in the pattern for full instructions to get your best fit

️ YARN ️
1 x 50 gram ball of fingering weight in each color is sufficient.
The yarn used for featured mittens in the pattern is Tynn Per Gynt by Sandnes Garn, but any fingering weight yarn you prefer is of course okay.

I have small hands and can knit two pairs from 2 50-gram balls of yarn with my gauge (by swapping the base color and contrast color)

️ INSTRUCTIONS ️
This pattern instructs mittens knit on 5 double pointed needles with fingering weight yarn as a starting point, but you can easily knit these on magic loop if you prefer and even play a little bit around with DK weight yarn. It all depends on your personal gauge.

You’ll find clear charts, as well as 10 videos to guide you through the project should you need some extra help.

Needle Sizes
Suggestions are made under “Swatching” to different hand sizes in the pattern.
I really recommend you swatch to be 100 % sure your mittens will fit and that you like your choice of colors together!

Equipment Needed
5 double pointed needles, you can knit a magic loop if you prefer

Recommended Yarn
Fingering weight wool yarn, 2 colors in high contrast (Examples: black & white, light gray & red, beige & brown etc..)
