Sportive Cup Cozy
by Sarah Burton
I love reusable coffee cup sleeves and have made several over the past few years. The felted ones have held up best. This mosaic design reminds me of the design in a favorite pink and green sweater that I wore out during the early 80s, the height of the preppy look. The technique uses slipped stitches – an easy technique that creates two-color results while knitting with only one color at a time. Don’t let the chart stop you from trying this technique.
Skills: Cast on, knitting in the round, slip stitches purlwise, bind off, felting (fulling)
Can be felted to be a bit larger or smaller.
